Workshop on Astronomy conducted by Mr. Amar Sharma

In Spite of clouds and rain our girls spirits were certainly not dampened as they listened in rapt attention to Mr. Sharma of Saturn & Jupiter and the universe we all belong to. After all we too are made of star stuff.The girls learnt how to make planetary observations, measure the distance of various planets from the Earth and are now greatly enthused to learn much more of the ‘deep- sky objects ’such as star clusters,nebulae and galaxies.
